  1. The Tesla connector is located behind the lower center console panel which is held in with clips. For ease of installation, move both driver and passenger seats to their most forward position.

    • Slide the end of a panel removal tool under the right side of the panel, twist slightly to release the clips, and then remove the panel.

  2. Use a T20 TORX screwdriver to remove the two screws, as shown.

  3. Carefully pull the air vent panel outwards to release the clip and remove the panel. Place the panel on top of the center console.

  4. Remove the panel under the air vent using the same method. Remove the panel under the air vent using the same method.

  5. Unplug the Tesla connector, and then plug in the HRN-CT20T1 Geotab harness. ! IMPORTANT: Ensure the harness and the Tesla connector are securely attached. ! IMPORTANT: Ensure the harness and the Tesla connector are securely attached.
    • Unplug the Tesla connector, and then plug in the HRN-CT20T1 Geotab harness.

  6. Plug the GO device into the Geotab harness.
    • Plug the GO device into the Geotab harness.

    • You should hear 6 beeps, and the Red, Blue and Green LEDs on the GO device should blink.

  7. Secure the connection with a cable tie, and then trim any excess cable tie.

  8. Using an alcohol-based wipe, clean the bottom of the air vent. Make sure the surface is completely dry before proceeding.

    • Apply double-sided tape to the bottom of the vent as shown.

  9. Peel off the protective film from the exposed side of the double-sided tape. Attach the antenna side of the  GO device to the double-sided tape. The GPS antenna is located on the "bottom" of the GO device.

    • Apply firm pressure for 30 seconds.

  10. Reinstall the removed panels in reverse order, starting with the center panel. Line up the clips and press firmly, locking the panel into place. Take the air vent panel and push the wiring down to prevent it from being pinched by the panel.

  11. ! IMPORTANT: Ensure the GO device cable is not pinched. Refasten the two T20 TORX screws. Reinstall the center panel by lining up the clips and firmly pressing them into place.

    • Refasten the two T20 TORX screws.

    • Reinstall the center panel by lining up the clips and firmly pressing them into place.
