Introduction
Custom adapter for use with HRN-GS16K2 and HRN-GS16K22 Standard 16-Pin T-Harness Kit for SWC (Single wire CAN) chip protection.
Customers who are planning to install a GO9 device in the vehicles listed below are advised to use the HRN-CG13S1-A - 16-Pin Adapter for SWC (Single wire CAN) chip protection when installing a GO Device using either a HRN-GS16K2 or HRN-GS16K22 Standard 16-Pin T-Harness Kit.
Without the adapter, possible power transients on Pin 1 for select 12V and 24V vehicles have the potential to damage the SWC chip on the GO device. HRN-CG13S1-A is designed such that it eliminates any power or signal on Pin 1 from the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) diagnostic port. In order to mitigate the issue, we are recommending to install HRN-CG13S1-A adapter.

Upon sudden acceleration or deceleration, improperly fastened, in-vehicle devices may detach and impact operators, which may cause injury.
