Introduction

Custom proprietary harness for enhanced engine data support on select Peugeot, Citroen, Opel, and Vauxhall vehicles in Europe.

  1. The HRN-BD06A12 - 16-pin adapter is required for enhanced engine data support on select Peugeot, Citroen, Opel, and Vauxhall vehicles.

    • The HRN-BD06A12 adapter is installed between the HRN-GS16K22 harness and the GO device.

    • Secure the HRN-BD06A12 adapter to the HRN-GS16K22 harness with a cable tie.

    • Secure the device to the harness with the included cable tie.

    • Trim any excess cable tie

    • Every device includes a black serialized cable tie which should be used in this step.

  2. Start Vehicle. Verify LED pattern.

    • The device emits 2 quick beeps every 60 seconds during set-up. Once all three LEDs turn solid you will hear 10 quick beeps.

  3. Route device to mounting location as needed. Ensure cable does not interfere with any moving parts.

    • Secure excess harness as needed with cable ties.

    • Secure device using 2 cable ties.

    • To ensure good data quality, the device must be firmly secured with no free movement!

  4. The device must not be secured with bottom side (side with serial number sticker) facing in direct contact of metal!

    • To ensure reporting quality the bottom of the device must have line of sight to the sky!

    • Lines of sight through plastics, glass, and composites are generally acceptable.

  5. Reattach any dash panels that were removed.

    • Ensure all trash and packaging is removed from the vehicle.

    • WARNING! All in-vehicle devices and related cabling must be securely fastened and kept clear of all vehicle controls, including gas, brake and clutch pedals. To ensure all devices and cabling remain securely attached, inspect devices and cabling on a regular basis.

    • Loose cabling or devices may impede the use of vehicle controls, resulting in unanticipated acceleration, braking, or other loss of vehicle control, which could lead to death or serious personal injury. Upon sudden acceleration or deceleration, improperly fastened, in-vehicle devices may detach and impact operators, which may cause injury.
