  1. The IOX-WRKS primary port connects to the serial port on the Epoke X1 using the standard DB9 Straight Through cable HRN-DB9SI15.   2. Press the [Menu] button located in the top left corner. Press the [Settings] button. Select [Login] from the [Settings] screen.

  3. Click on the first orange box to login to the Epoke X1. Use the on screen keypad to enter in the login, password and pin number below:

    • After successfully logging in, return back to the [Settings] screen.

  4. From the settings screen, navigate to [Spreader Settings > Advanced > Data collection > Log methods]. Select the [Remote RS232-2] option and press the green checkmark to save the setting. Select the [Remote RS232-2] option and press the green checkmark to save the setting.

  5. From the settings screen, navigate to [User settings > Data collection]. On the [Data collection] screen enable "Autostart", "Log by distance", and "Log by time". Scroll down to [Logs interval].

    • On the [Data collection] screen enable "Autostart", "Log by distance", and "Log by time".

    • Scroll down to [Logs interval].

    • Set [Logs interval] is set to "60 s".

  6. From the Data collection screen, navigate to [Port settings > Remote port]. Set the [Baud rate] to "19200" and the [Data bits] to "8".
    • From the Data collection screen, navigate to [Port settings > Remote port].

    • Set the [Baud rate] to "19200" and the [Data bits] to "8".

    • Press the green checkmark to save the settings.

    • The Epoke X1 controller is now configured to stream data to the IOX-WRKS.

    • Ensure the IOX-WRKS has the correct controller configuration loaded before proceeding to verification / simulation mode.

  7. Press the [Start/Stop] button to test for data.
    • Press the [Start/Stop] button to test for data.

    • Press the [Start/Stop] button to turn off once the verification is complete.
