The IOX-WRKS primary port connects to the serial port on the Epoke Sirius using the standard DB9 Straight Through cable HRN-DB9SI15.

The serial port of the Epoke is located on the top right corner of the control head. Some are equipped with a second port on the electronics box usually located on the floor or passenger seat mount. Use the port which best manages the connection and cable run.

Turn on the Epoke Sirius controller.

Press the [Menu] button.

Move to [SET-UP] using the right selector knob.

Press the [Enter] button.

If prompted for a password, use the center and right selector knobs to enter "1132".

Press the [Enter] button.

Move to [EPOKE] using the right selector knob.

Press the [Enter] button.

Move to [Datalog] using the right selector knob.

Using the left and right selector knobs, set to "RS232-2".

Press the [Enter] button.

Press the [Menu} button twice to return to the main operator screen.

The Epoke Sirius controller is now configured to stream data to the IOX-WRKS.

Press the [S/S] button to test for data.

Press the [S/S] button to turn off once the verification is complete.

A computer can be used to confirm data is flowing from the serial port on the Epoke Sirius controller.

Connect your computer's COM port using a DB9 Straight Through cable to the serial port on the Epoke Sirius controller.

Open up a Terminal application, select the correct COM port on your computer and set the baud rate to "19200".

Each time the controller sends data you will be able to see it in the Terminal application.
