    • A 1-meter DB9 M-F Null Modem cable is required.

    • This cable is not available from Geotab and must be supplied by the installer or reseller.

  2. The IOX-WRKS primary port connects to the female DB9 serial port on the back of the ECON Spargo using the DB9 M-F Null Modem cable.     • Ensure the IOX-WRKS has the correct controller configuration loaded before proceeding to verification / simulation mode.

    • The ECON Spargo's port settings are factory set to stream data.

    • Start the vehicle.

    • Using the controls on the ECON Spargo, set the desired rates.

    • Place the controller in operations mode.

    • After the verification is complete, return the controller back to its original settings and shut off the vehicle.
